Launching takes a lot of work. There are tons of things you need to do to prepare for a launch, things like making sure your product/course is ready, writing emails for your funnel, copywriting for sales pages, creating your lead magnets. The list goes on and on.
One thing that you absolutely MUST have when launching is TRAFFIC. You need people to know about the product or service that you are offering. After all, if nobody sees what you are selling they will never buy.
Sure you can get traffic from your list, your website, JV partners, asking your mom to tell her friends, etc. But there is one incredibly powerful source of traffic that you need to always have in your arsenal.
I love Facebook Ads. Why? Well, 3 reasons.

3. A Huge volume of users to target. Over a billion people are registered you know.
Here are my top 4 ways that you can use Facebook ads to support your launch.
1) Show Ads To Everyone On Your List
I’m sure you know that everyone on your list doesn’t open all of your emails. I know, how dare them.
If you have a list of 5000 people and an open rate of 30% that means that out of those 5000 people only 1500 of them actually open and email from you. And a 30% open rate is actually good!
You can upload your entire email list to Facebook via Custom Audiences and let Facebook match those emails to people on your list.
Now you can hit these people with a one/two punch. If they don’t see your email you can get to them through your ads.
2) Promote your lead magnet (webinar, 3 part videos series, eBook, etc.) to prospects who “look” just like your list.
Did you know that you can tell Facebook to create a “look-a-like” audience of your email list that you uploaded?
Well, you can. And it’s awesome. Facebook uses the data it has already gathered about the people on your list (through their Facebook profiles) and goes out and finds people who have similar interests and behaviors.
You can then promote your lead magnets to these folks and most of the time see fantastic results and a cheaper cost per lead.
3) Retargeting To Drive People To Your Sales Page
So you have promoted your lead magnet. You got people to download your eBook, then got them to your webinar or video series. You even got them to your sales page. But what if they didn’t buy?
As crazy as it may seem, there are people who will go through your entire sales funnel, make it to the sales page and still not buy. Instead of letting these poor folks disappear into the unknown, retarget them with Facebook ads until they decide to stop procrastinating and buy your super cool product.
You can target everyone who has reached any point in your funnel and HAS NOT bought and bring them back to you where you can deliver your sales pitch to them again. How great is that?
4) Create Scarcity (Cart is Closing!)
We all know that one powerful way to get people off the fence when it comes to buying is to create a sense of scarcity. Tell them that spots are filling up (which I’m sure they will be) and that you are closing the cart soon.
You can use Facebook ads for this too! As your deadline for buying approaches, start running ads to everyone who watched your webinar or attended your livestream (or whatever) and tell them that they still have time.
